Benefits of Being a Caregiver: Starting pay (for PCA, HHA, and NA) is $14-$17/hr, for CNAs $14.50-$18/hr 401k, with company match Medical, dental, vision, supplemental health plans for accident and injury Company paid virtual doctor visits/telehealth, after 1 year of employment Shift premiums for weekends and couple’s care, per visit flat rate available Opportunity for advancement, as the business grows Yearly reviews, with performance bonuses Opportunities for voluntary overtime shifts Training provided Hours: 8 am-2 pm will all 7 days of the week available - let us know what days you want! At Home Caregiver Responsibilities: Provide ambulation support, bathroom assistance, hygiene care and redirections with encouragement and patience. Provide care for patients with advanced dementia Provide non-medical assistance to seniors in their homes Provide mobility assistance, such as walking and transfers Monitor medication schedules and provide reminders Monitor fluid intake and output Personal care and hygiene assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation tasks Monitor patients overnight, assisting with mobility challenges and transfers Job Requirements: Must be available to work 8am-2pm shift Must be encouraging and patient in providing advanced dementia care Must be 18 years or older to apply Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation required Must have a current CNA, NA, PCA, or HHA certification, or be willing to obtain one prior to starting work * Current PPD Must be self directed and able to work with minimal supervision Able to pass drug screening and criminal background check **Did you know Visiting Angels of Virginia Beach offers a PCA certification course that is available to you?
